· Takes a special program and laptop to change speed . if you want more speed i would look at your tires. 18X8.5X8 is the standard size and for more speed go to 205x65x10 wheel and tire. This does not require a lift kit.. If that doesn't fix your need for speed you need to take your cart to a Yamaha dealer for programming the speed up. .
